By accessing and using HealthyCouple ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HealthyCouple provides a web-based platform for couples to:

• Complete relationship assessment questionnaires
• Receive personalized insights and recommendations
• Track relationship progress over time
• Share results and data with their partner
• Access premium features through paid subscriptions

The Service is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Partner Accounts

When you invite a partner to join your couple account:

• Both partners must consent to share their assessment data
• Each partner retains individual access to their own account
• Shared data is visible to both partners within the couple account
• Either partner may disconnect the couple account at any time

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Share your account with others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Scrape, copy, or download data without authorization
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content on HealthyCouple, including but not limited to questionnaires, assessments, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of HealthyCouple and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (questionnaire responses, notes, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your content solely to provide the Service and generate insights.

6. Subscription and Payments

6.1 Free and Premium Tiers

We offer both free and premium subscription plans. Premium features include:

• Advanced questionnaires and assessments
• Detailed comparison reports
• Progress tracking over time
• Priority support
• Additional storage and features

6.2 Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees owed. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.

6.3 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time premium subscribers. After 30 days, subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.

6.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes. Your continued use of the Service after the price change constitutes acceptance.

7. Data and Privacy

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8.3 No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee that use of the Service will improve your relationship, resolve conflicts, or produce specific outcomes. Results vary based on individual circumstances.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HealthyCouple and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content
• Any relationship issues or decisions made based on Service insights

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HealthyCouple and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you submit to the Service

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to access the Service immediately ceases
• You remain liable for all fees owed through the termination date
• We may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policies
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.

12. Dispute Resolution
